Scaffold that holds up
to inspection.

On the South Coast since 2008. CISRS carded crews, TG20-compliant design, weekly signed scaff tags. The scaffold is never the expensive part of the job — the delay is. Ours goes up on schedule, stays safe for the duration, and comes down clean.

The standard

Anyone can put tube in the air. What holds a programme together is the design behind it.

That, the cards in the crew's pockets, and paperwork that stands up when an inspector, an insurer or a principal contractor asks for it — those are the parts we are strict about, and why our scaffolds do not become somebody else's problem halfway through a programme.

A scaffold is a temporary structure, and it is designed like one. Boarded lifts carried around all three elevations at the same height, standards on a set pattern, guardrails and toe boards continuous through every return.
01 — Design

Engineered before it is erected

Standard structures built to TG20:21 compliance. Anything outside it — cantilevers, temporary roofs, extreme height, awkward ground — gets a bespoke CAD design with calculations before a single tube is loaded onto the lorry.

02 — Crew

Carded, trained, and the same faces

CISRS carded scaffolders, from Advanced down to trainee, and every one of them asbestos-awareness trained. Directly employed, not sub-let to whoever is free that week. The team who quote your job are the team who build it.

03 — Handover

Paperwork you can hand to an inspector

RAMS issued before we arrive. Handover certificate on completion. Signed scaff tag on every access point, re-inspected every seven days for as long as the structure stands, with the record sent through to you.

Ties, ladder and tag

Tied into the building, safe access in, and a signed tag on the end standard. Until the tag is on, nobody works off it.

The paperwork, before you ask for it.

If you are pre-qualifying us, everything you need is on this page rather than three emails away. Below is our capability statement, and specimens of the documents that are issued on every contract — so you can see the standard before you appoint us, not after.

Capability statement

Company details, accreditations with registration numbers, insurance limits, technical capability, competence and safety record — in the format PQQ and procurement teams ask for. Updated annually.

Signed scaff tag

Fitted at every access point and signed at each inspection. If the tag is missing, out of date or reads do not use, the scaffold is not to be climbed — and that rule applies to us as much as to you.

Tested ties

Ties are pull-out tested on site with a testing kit, and the result is written on the tie tag — test value and date, there for the next inspector to read.

A scaffold is a piece of temporary engineering, so we log it like one. Each job below carries its address, the access solution we specified, and how long it stood.

Every lift boarded out, guardrails and toe boards the full run, ties to the structure on a set pattern. This is what a scaffold looks like when the design came first.

The crew

Every scaffold on this page was put up by these men.

CISRS carded, directly employed, and the same faces from the quote to the strike. We are not a phone number that sub-lets your job to whoever is free that week.

Directly employed, not sub-let. Dave Carter runs contracts; Ben Carter and Danny Bulter supervise. The men who price your job are the men who build it, and the same supervisor signs the tag every seven days for as long as the structure stands.

Carded and certificated. Two CISRS Advanced scaffolders, six Part 2 and two Part 1, with two trainees coming through. Every operative holds asbestos awareness. Cards produced on request before anyone sets foot on your site.
